ABOUT HIGH SCHOOL CONFERENCE
High School Conference (HSC) is an annual event where UCSD College students put together a whole day full of fun activities and useful knowledge to provide high school students with all the information they need before entering into college. Through the different workshops that our staff put together, students will have an opportunity to learn about college life (housing on/off campus, food, transportation, student orgs, etc), financial aid and scholarships, how to choose between different types of colleges, etc. Students will also be able to have all their questions (anything about college) answered at our Q&A Session. On top of all the fun and free knowledge, we also provide students free breakfast, lunch, snacks, an awesome t-shirt and many other prizes.
TO TEACHERS, PARENTS, GUARDIANS:
We, the Vietnamese Student Association at the University of California in San Diego, will be hosting a High School Conference on Sunday, February 19, 2012. We would like to invite your students to this FREE, All-day event. We will also provide bus transportation (ONLY FOR STUDENTS FROM ORANGE COUNTY). Although this High School Conference is open to ALL students, we are also targeting under-represented minority students who might not have considered life after high-school, particularly life in college.
We would be grateful if you could help us reach out to all your faculties and students in order to avail them of this opportunity.
